Julian "Jay" Hinesley

Julian “Jay” Hinesley has led MUSC Health’s Pee Dee Division since 2021, driving patient care and operational excellence across the Pee Dee region. With a proven track record in executive health care management, Hinesley previously served as president of Vanderbilt Health’s Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, Tennessee. A graduate of Presbyterian College and the Medical University of South Carolina, Hinesley began his career at Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Charleston. He earned the W. Stuart Smith Leadership Excellence Award in 2024 for his outstanding contributions to MUSC Health. Hinesley’s vision continues to shape health care in South Carolina, securing his place among the region’s top 50 most influential business leaders.
